Backpackers Nirvana is approximately 30 minutes walk or 10 minutes by car from the conference venue of Reef Hotel.

Prices vary from 3000ksh (single room) to 4000ksh (twin room). Superior rooms are approx. 5000ksh/night.
- Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort and Spa
Rates start from 11000Ksh for a single room and 15000Ksh for a double room (garden view- half board). Sea view rooms are also available. Please contact the hotel directly for rates.
Whitesands is a 5* luxury resort in the bamburi area of Mombasa, approximately a 15-20 minute drive from Reef Hotel.
Please note:
-Sunrise resort apartments and Mombasa Backpackers are 5 minute walk away from the conference venue (Reef Hotel) via a side gate. If you decide to book at either of these venues, please inform the conference organisers so your name may be submitted to Reef Hotel for use of this side entrance.
- The ‘other options’ for accommodation can be booked directly, only bookings with Reef Hotel need to be made through the conference organisers. This can be done by filling in the conference registration form.- Please quote ‘speech therapy conference’ at the time of booking at Leinmach Guest House to get the special conference rates.- Quote 'speech therapy conference' when booking at the backpackers if you would like to be grouped in the same dorms as other conference guests.- The rates provided above reflect the Ksh-USD exchange rate at the time of posting.- The rates for 'other options' are subject to change.
