Funding sought for 5th East African SLT conference

We need your support!

We are trying to ensure that the 5th East African Speech and Language Therapy Conference is accessible to as many relevant professionals as possible across the East African region. Attendees are expected to include speech and language therapist volunteers from across the region and graduates/current students of East Africa’s 1^st SLT course at Makerere University, Uganda.

We are therefore seeking funding to help keep personal attendance costs as low as possible. And we need your help to do this!

If you know of any organisations who have corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes, companies that may be interested in providing sponsorship or any charitable donors who might be interested helping fund this event, please blog below or contact us on sltkenya2013@gmail.com.

East African Conference on Communication Disability 2013

Hello all!

This blog is to provide updates for the next East African Conference on Communication Disability. This is going to be the 5th conference of its kind and is due to take place in the beautiful coastal city of Mombasa, Kenya.

The dates for the conference are yet to be confirmed but tentative dates have been set for the 5th-8th September 2013.  (Please note that the dates have been changed to 2nd-5th September 2013. Thank you.)
